Parkjo ("we," "us," "our") provides parking permit and guest-parking software for residential properties and commercial parking lots. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use Parkjo, we may collect:

• Contact information: name, phone number, and (optionally) email address.
• Vehicle information: license plate, state, make, model, color, year, and the last 6 characters of your VIN.
• Residency information: for resident registrations, your unit number and lease information relevant to your registration.
• Payment information: when you pay for a guest pass or permit, payment is processed directly by Stripe. Parkjo does not receive or store your full card number.

How we use your information

• To create and manage your parking registration or guest pass.
• To verify parking eligibility for enforcement purposes at the property.
• To send you confirmations, receipts, and time-sensitive reminders (such as an upcoming pass expiration) by text message or email, if you've opted in.
• To communicate with you about your registration if you contact us for support.

Text messages

If you provide a phone number and opt in, we may send you text messages related to your parking pass or registration, including purchase confirmations, expiration reminders, and extension links. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message.

Your mobile opt-in and phone number are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. You are giving your consent directly to Parkjo, and your phone number is used solely to send you messages about your own parking pass or registration, as described above.

Who we share information with

• The property or lot you're registering at, so they can verify valid parking.
• Our service providers who help us operate Parkjo — including our payment processor (Stripe), our text messaging provider (Twilio), and our email provider (Resend) — solely to provide the service to you.
• We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep information

We retain registration and vehicle information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, support enforcement records, and meet legal or accounting requirements.

Your choices

• You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.
• You can contact us to ask what information we have about you or to request corrections.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
